Kingston and Fort Henry

Posted By: Jay Herrington · 7/29/2013 9:46:00 AM

Took the wife and kids on our first family road trip (you know, outside of going for "brunch" at Costco on a Saturday morning.

We decided on Kingston - I'd never been and it had been years for the wife. My only hesitation for the trip was listening to screaming children for two hours on the way down. They BOTH slept the whole way there and back! Very glad to have good "Car Babies". but I digress....

Kingston kicks Ottawa's ass in the waterfront development department. That's what happens when you allow planners to get involved in things rather than ideas getting kiboshed at the NCC level.

Fort Henry is a pretty nifty place at dusk. I could make a list but it's probably easier on us all if you just listen to Kaz and I chatting about it this morning ... click the audio to the right.

The Best Thing on the Internet Right Now

OK, so first I have to warn you that this is beyond not suitable for work. Turn the volume down, put headphones on, do NOT play this for your kids.

Now, if you are a child of the 80s you have at some point watched Duck Tales, right? Right. Well, get ready for "Scientifically Accurate Duck Tales". This just might be the funniest thing I have seen on the internet since Shania Twain wiped out at the CMT awards in 2011.

Honestly, McCord, Jay and I were wiping away tears. Enjoy.

Ahhhhh! Giant Dragon Skull!

Posted By: Jay Herrington · 7/22/2013 6:55:00 AM

Very cool.

Beachgoers in Dorset, Englad came across the giant dragon skull last week.

The bus-sized skull was left on the beach to promote the Season 3 Premier of Game of Thrones on a "on-demand" channel.

it took a team of 3 sculptors two months to complete the forty-foot-long skull.

How awesome would that look in your backyard, eh?

The best commercial on TV, bar none.

I am in no way endorsing this product, although I'm sure it is fine and delicious.

STREAKERS: Nature's Hilarious Game-ruiners.

How pissed off would you be if a streaker impacted a championship game? It almost happened in rugby. Dig:
