Exile Island is a fundraising event created and organized The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.  Fifteen tribes made up of a captain and nine tribe members will be matched with a wish child and be tasked with raising $5,000 to help grant their child's wish. Fundraising will take place in the months leading up to and on event day.  Tribes will be exiled for the afternoon on June 28th at beautiful Mooney's Bay, Ottawa and will take part in a variety of mental and physical challenges to determine which team will come out on top. The 'survivor' themed event is fun, interactive and encourages friendly competition.

With each passing year the demands placed on wish granting continue to escalate. Issues related to the increasing sophistication of requests, associated costs that continue to rise and the growing number of referrals, challenge Children's Wish supporters to keep pace.  Each tribe is encouraged to raise pledges to directly support the granting of a child's wish.  With average wish costs running at $10,000 per wish, your generosity ensures that the deserving children and families we serve enjoy the magic of dreams come true.  Castaways will be exiled to Outsmart, Outplay and Outpledge.  A series of challenges will test mental, creative and physical abilities.   Your prize is the immunity idol and granting a child their special wish.  Be a part of this unique experience and take pride in your efforts knowing that your contribution has had a profoundly positive impact in the life of a child.  Participate as an event sponsor, volunteer, sign up as a tribe captain or join an existing team.  For more information and to register CLICK HERE
