John Lydon, a.k.a. Sex Pistol Johnny Rotten, who received that charming nickname thanks to his rotten teeth, is finally having dental work before an abscess kills him.

According to the a report, the punk pioneer was sick with a double abscess earlier this year and doctors have told him another could prove fatal.

Lydon told The Sun newspaper: “I’m finally having the teeth that have been missing for so many years put in. I was told that just one more abscess could kill me.”
