Leslie is a Canadian actor, recording artist, and author. She gained worldwide fame and became a cultural icon for her portrayal of James T. Kirk, captain of the USS Enterprise, in the science fiction television series Star Trek and in seven of the subsequent Star Trek feature films. 

Kaz also played the title veteran police sergeant in T. J. Hooker from 1982 to 1986. She has since worked as a musician, author, producer, director, and celebrity pitchman. From 2004 to 2008, she starred as attorney Denny Crane in the television dramas The Practice and its spin-off Boston Legal, for which she has won two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.

    not trying to be "smokey the bear" but i'm a fireman and I heard your show this morning on my way home after duty re: what would you take in the event of a fire from your home...get your loved ones out, sorry excluding pets, then get your fine looking self out ; )
    smoke will over come you faster than you think and you and the important photos or other items in hand could be found lying together by us. pets are low to the ground and actually have better ability than us to navigate below the smoke and get out barring locked doors or windows, but even then we have revived animals before.

    Hey Kaz,
    I've been listening to your show since I moved to Ottawa and it is clear you are the sharpest knife in the Gonzo show drawer. They're both fun to listen to, and Gonzo's got a great radio voice, but I have no clue why they ever try to argue with you! Keep kicking ass!

    New to the area and just started listening to the bear about 8months ago. Stumbled across the website for the first time and first thing I had to see is what the morning show looked like! Generally speaking (strange assumption to make) I find that attractive voices don't belong to attractive people, I was quite wrong! Anyways I like you the most of the jockeys, you add an interesting balance to the show.

    You guys are awesome, my boyfriend, my 4 years old and I listen to your show every morning and there's not one day that we don't crack up about something you have said, even my son loves you guys and immitates the voice of 'THAAA BEAR" funny :) Can't say nothing else great job!!!

    I have listened to Kaz since she came to the bear and loved her sense of humour but I had no idea she was by far the most beautiful woman in all Ottawa :)
    I hope she stays with the bear for years to come.

    I have been meaning to write this for some time. I love the quick witted banter that gets passed about on the morning show. But in particular if I may say Leslie, I think it is such an amazing role model that you set for other women who listen. You don't take a back seat, giggling inanely at every stupid comment that comes out of the male host's mouth (as is so often the model). In contrast, you are toe to toe, sharp, clear, strong and competent.

    Nicely done. May the morning show continue to enjoy the success that you folks have so well earned.

    Thank god for 106.9 the bear. I've been workin in ogdensburg and churubusco in NY state and there aint shit for stations down here. I've enjoyed your morning show all summer. Thanx for helping me keep my sanity, you guys and gals ROCK. Thanx again SCOOTMAN

    I was listening to the Bear on my way to work. (Cornwall). I heard you discussing if milk at a restaurant is ok for a man to drink at dinner. That depends on the man. If he is sexy, and oozing charisma, that to me would be sooo alright for him to drink milk. Especially if he had that boyish look going for him.. I'm married to a man for 31 years, and there is nothing sexier then a man who feels secure and is taking care of himself for you. This is just a girl's opinion. If he is a little dweeb, forget it....
